[origin: WO2009034228A1] The invention relates to an apparatus for a web forming machine. The apparatus is doctor equipment adapted at both of its ends to a web forming machine with support means (10). The doctor equipment also includes a composite blade holder (11) to which the support means (10) are connected. The doctor equipment includes an actuator (12) which is adapted to load and open the doctor equipment. In addition, the actuator (12) includes at least one pneumatic muscle (13) which is adapted in connection with one of the two ends of the doctor equipment.
