[origin: WO2009021895A2] A refrigeration device comprises a storage chamber (3), an ancillary chamber (9) recessed from the storage chamber (3), said ancillary chamber comprising a reversible absorber (10) for moisture, and a fan (15) for circulating air between the storage chamber (3) and the ancillary chamber (9). A valve arrangement (14, 16) is used to separate the ancillary chamber (9) from the storage chamber (3) and to connect the ancillary chamber (9) to the surrounding area. If a need for drying is detected, first air is circulated between the storage chamber (3) and the ancillary chamber (9) comprising the absorber (10) and then between the ancillary chamber (9) and the surrounding area.
