[origin: WO2009037022A1] The present invention relates to a fused load disconnector with a disconnector bottom and a pivotable cover arranged thereon, with holder contacts for holding the contacts of fuse units, wherein a first contact group is designed as plug contacts with a base section leading through the disconnector bottom and protruding from the disconnector bottom, wherein the disconnector bottom can be placed on an adapter in different connecting directions, wherein the adapter comprises a plurality of contact openings for the alternative guidance of the base section and a contact rail running in the region of the contact openings, the first contact group and a second contact group, connected to the input connections, being covered by a first and a second contact guard cap, wherein the first and second contact guard caps each comprise insertion slits and integrated light arch quenching chambers, wherein the second contact guard cap is designed such that it can be removed from the disconnector bottom.
