The dome has a dome housing bordering a housing inner space, in which a dryer is arranged. The dome housing is partially constructed of individual wall modules (1). The wall modules consist of an inner wall element (3), an outer wall element (4) and an insulation unit (2) that comprises insulating layers. The inner wall element faces the housing inner space, and the outer wall element is turned away from the housing inner space. The insulation unit is arranged between the inner wall element and the outer wall element, which is permeable to airborne sound. The insulating layers comprise of material such as rock wool, glass wool, cork and hemp.

Schutz- bzw. Dunsthaube bestehend aus einem Haubengehäuse, dass einen Gehäuseinnenraum begrenzt, in dem ein Prozessbereich, wie z.B. die Trockenpartie, der Papier- und/oder Kartonmaschine angeordnet oder anordenbar ist. Das Haubengehäuse ist wenigstens teilweise aus einzelnen Wandpanellen oder Wandmodulen aufgebaut oder zusammengesetzt. Jedes Wandmodul weißt ein dem Gehäuseinnenraum zugewandtes Innenwandelement und ein vom Gehäuseinnenraum abgewandtes Außenwandelement auf. Zwischen dem Innenwandelement und dem Außenwandelement ist eine Isolierung zur Wärme- und Schallisolierung angeordnet. Dabei ist mindestens eine Wandpanelle der Schutz- bzw. Dunsthaube mit einem schalloffenen Außenwandelement versehen und die Isolierung so ausgelegt, dass eine Schallreduzierung in der Maschinenhalle erreicht wird.
