[origin: EP2189602A2] The drive (1) has a carriage unit (20) i.e. square profile, movable linearly along a profile (10), where the carriage unit is designed with rolling elements (25). A guiding unit (31) is provided at the carriage unit, where the guiding unit is accommodated in a guide path (4) in a movable manner. A safety unit (30) is arranged at the carriage unit, where the safety unit works on the guiding unit with a force. The guiding unit is safely held in the guide path, where the carriage unit is displaceable reliably along the profile.
