Abstract (en)
The gas turbine has a set of hollow cone-shaped or hollow cylindrical components e.g. vane support (16), arranged coaxially inside one another. One of the components includes elliptical-shaped cross-sectional surface in an idle state. Lengths of major and minor axes of the elliptical-shaped cross-sectional surface are selected in such a manner that the component includes a circular cross-sectional surface by thermal deformation in an operating state. The component includes an upper segment (24) and a lower segment (26).

Eine Gasturbine (1) mit einer Anzahl von koaxial ineinander angeordneten, im Wesentlichen hohlkegelförmig oder hohlzylindrisch ausgebildeten Bauteilen und ein Leitschaufelträger (16) sollen bei Erhaltung der größtmöglichen betrieblichen Sicherheit und Lebensdauer einen besonders hohen Wirkungsgrad ermöglichen. Dazu weist zumindest eines der Bauteile bzw. der Leitschaufelträger im Außerbetriebszustand eine im Wesentlichen ellipsenförmige Querschnittsfläche auf.
