[origin: WO2009024513A1] The subject matter of the invention is a housing of an exhaust hood with an air exit gap (7) which is located between a first housing component (11) and a second housing component (12). According to the invention at least one spacer (5) is provided by which the width (a) of the air exit gap (7) is set. A plurality of spacers (5) is arranged such that said spacers (5) are distributed over the length of the air exit gap (7). The housing has a dimensionally stable core (3) in the area of the air exit gap (7).
