Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2009036948A1] The present invention relates to a light-emitting diode module (1) comprising a light-emitting diode arrangement (6), a load (7) which is connected in parallel with the light-emitting diode arrangement (6), a first converter (4) which is connected to the light-emitting diode arrangement (6), and a second converter (5), which is connected to the load (7), for distributing the electrical characteristic variable, which is supplied by a current or voltage source, to the light-emitting diode arrangement (6) and the load (7), and a control unit (3) for driving the first and second converters (4, 5) in such a way that the manner of operation of the light-emitting diode arrangement (6) corresponds to a predetermined setting. The present invention also relates to a method for controlling a light-emitting diode module (1).
