Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to a method of cleaning and flushing a beverage dispensing system comprising a sealable pressure chamber containing a beverage, a sealable multi-chambered cartridge located outside the pressure chamber comprising a first cartridge containing a cleaning fluid and a second cartridge containing a flushing fluid, a fluid pressure source connected to the pressure chamber and to the multi-chambered cartridge, a tapping device for dispensing the beverage, the cleaning fluid and the flushing fluid, a tapping line for delivering the beverage, the cleaning fluid and the flushing fluid to the tapping device, and a discharge valve connected to the multi-chambered cartridge, the pressure chamber and the tapping line. The method further comprises positioning the discharge valve in the rinsing position and dispensing the cleaning fluid from the tapping device.
