The element (1) has a front panel (3) and a front panel retainer (2), which is fixed to a drawer that is retractable into and extendable from a furniture body. The drawer is locked in the furniture body by a lock (4) including a lock core. A lock housing is formed at the front panel retainer, where the lock core is inserted into the housing. The lock housing is integrally formed with the front panel retainer and designed as a plastic mold part. The lock core is inserted into an adaptor cover, where an inner contour of the cover is adapted to an outer contour of the core.

Frontblendenelement (1), welches aus einer Frontblende (3) und einem Frontblendenhalter (2) besteht, welches an einem in einen Möbelkorpus ein- und ausfahrbaren Einschubteil festgelegt ist, und dass mittels eines einen Schließkern (7) aufweisenden Schlosses (4) das Einschubteil im Möbelkorpus verriegelbar ist, wobei am Frontblendenhalter (2) ein Schlossgehäuse (9) angesetzt oder angeformt ist, in das zumindest der Schließkern (7) des Schlosses (4) eingesetzt ist.
