Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2192659A1] The housing (10) has two housing parts (12, 14) that are joined via a locking device (16) and rigid fastening elements (18). One of the housing parts has a receiving unit (24) for accommodating and applying electrical contact to a cable. The fastening elements and the receiving device are integrally formed with the housing. The fastening elements are formed as pins that protrude in pairs from the respective housing part in mutually opposing directions. The locking device has a longitudinal clamp for establishing connection between the fastening elements. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacture of a zinc die-cast housing (2) a casting mold for die casting a zinc die-cast housing.
