[origin: WO2009043788A1] The remission values of a laser scanner are used to detect features that can only be optically detected, such as lane markings (13) for lanes on the ground beneath a loading crane facility (10). This makes it possible for a sensor arrangement (11) to be installed on a loading crane with little effort and little interference of the ongoing operation, because the calibration of the arrangement is simplified and the effort for a manual measurement of the lanes relative to the sensor coordinate system is dispensed with.
