Abstract (en)
The device has a thermal printer (1) for printing a flexible film, and a wedging unit for wedging an edge of the film with an edge of a rigid support plate. A gluing unit glues the flexible film on the support plate. An introducing unit introduces the flexible film into a posterior zone of the thermal printer. The thermal printer receives an internal guide for inducing a semi-turn of the film after introduction for printing the film using a thermal printing head of the printer. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for thermally printing a flexible film integrated to a rigid support plate for number plate (2) a square or rectangle shaped flexible film integrated to a transparent rigid plate after thermal printing for forming a number plate.

Ce dispositif pour la réalisation de plaques d'immatriculation de différents formats, lesdites plaques intégrant une plaque rigide transparente sur laquelle est collé un film souple imprimé, comporte : - une imprimante thermique (1) apte à imprimer le film souple ; - des moyens pour caler les bords respectifs de la plaque rigide et du film souple ; - des moyens pour assurer le collage du film souple sur ladite plaque rigide. Il comprend également des moyens d'introduction dudit film souple en zone postérieure de l'imprimante thermique, ladite imprimante thermique recevant en outre un guide interne apte à induire un demi-tour audit film souple après introduction en vue de son impression par la tête d'impression thermique de l'imprimante.
