[origin: EP2194314A1] The lamp (1) has a device carrier (2) for accommodating components for operating lamp units (3, 3') e.g. gas discharge lamps. An optics (4) radiates light on all sides and is made of a hollow body. Extension arms (5, 5') are attached to the carrier, and a holder (6) for the lamp units is attached to the arms. The arms are conducted in partial regions in a light-permeable manner. The arms are extended over a complete length of the carrier, and a partially light-permeable reflector (9) is arranged at a free space between the units and a front side (8) of the optics. The device carrier accommodates components for operating lamp units e.g. light lamps of type TC-L, 28 Watts.
