Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2194353A1] The method involves continuously delivering current images (I) representing a followed route by correlation of the images during detection. The current images are replaced by previously recorded anterior images (IA) captured at the same route. The current images and the anterior images are successively displaced to allow detection of an explosive device by correlation of the current and anterior images. A geographical position of the current and anterior images is readjusted before displaying the current and anterior images. An independent claim is also included for a system for detecting an explosive device dissimulated partially or completely on a route or near the route, from a vehicle circulating on the route.
