[origin: EP2194753A2] The element has two separate pipe heating cartridges (6, 7) shifted in a lateral surface of a carrier pipe (1) that is placed in two slots or slot-like channels. Metallic sheaths of the pipe heating cartridges contain two helical strands of a helical resistance wire. Closed ends of the pipe heating cartridges form beginning of two cartridge spiral coils lying at two ends of the carrier pipe, respectively. Connection-side ends (10, 11) of the pipe heating cartridges are guided together in center disconnected by the two ends of the carrier pipe, and are interconnected with one another.
