Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2009041907A1] The invention relates to a device (1) for hipprotection pants (2) comprising protections (3) extending along an area intended to cover and protect the user's hips. The protection (3) is formed of materials having flexible standing walls (8, 9) in the form of frame works. The protection may comprise one or more than one layer (6, 7) of standing walls (8, 9), and the interior layer (6, 7) is open in the direction outward (10) from the interior (11) of the pants. The walls (8, 9) of the layers (6, 7) may be open and accordingly the different layers (6, 7) may be ventilated laterally (12) and/or straight out as seen from the interior space (10) of the pants, and different hardness as regards compression in the direction perpendicular as seen in relation to the surface extension of the protection may be present for different protection layers (6, 7). A softer protection layer (6) is suitably arranged facing inward toward (13) and situated closest to the interior space (11) of the pants, and the material of the pants (2) is air permeable.
