[origin: WO2009046505A1] The invention relates to a unit for the in-line lubrication of cylinders (1) intended for the, preferably hot, rolling of a, preferably steel, metal strip, in which a lubricant is sprayed or atomised onto a target comprising the cylinders and/or the strip, preferably close to the roll gap, using a spray bar (2) formed by controllable air sprays (3) disposed parallel to said cylinders (1) and supplied with pressurised inert gas or air (4). The invention is characterised in that each spray (3) includes an inlet for pressurised inert gas or air (4) and an inlet for non-pressurised pure oil (5) disposed in an adaptor (6), followed by a mixing chamber (6') as well as an outlet nozzle (7) for the atomised mixture.
