[origin: WO2009049836A1] The invention relates to an anti-corrosion coating for steel sheets, which are subjected to heating to or above the austenization temperature and to quench hardening for hardening purposes, wherein the coating is a coating comprising primarily zinc and that is applied onto the steel sheet during a hot dipping process. The invention is characterized in that the coating comprises 0.1 to 5% aluminum and 0.2 to 2% magnesium, in addition to zinc and possibly present inevitable impurities.
