[origin: EP2196571A1] The needle (4) has a needle body (12) including an end with a hook (13), and a tongue (16) including a shaft (18) with which the tongue is pivotably supported at the hook on the needle body. The tongue has a tongue head (19) that lies in a closing position at the hook in order to close the hook. A cam (24) is arranged on an end of the tongue head that has a sliding surface (28) and extends away from the shaft. The cam is arranged between the tongue head and the shaft. The tongue head, the shaft and the cam are symmetrically arranged at a tongue center plane.
