[origin: EP2196657A1] The piston (1) has a piston head, an annular wall formed radially outward at the bottom of the piston head, and two bolt hubs (7,8) with front surfaces repositioned opposite to the annular wall in the direction of the piston axis (15). The bolt hubs are formed at the lower side of the piston head. A cooling channel (6) is arranged near to the piston head. The openings (20) of the cooling channel are closed with two reference circle covering plates.
