[origin: EP2197002A1] The electromagnet (1) comprises a housing (2), a field coil (3), a pole core (4), an adjustable armature (5) for the pole core, and a damping disk (6) arranged between the pole core and the armature. The damping disk is provided with a sliding lacquer coating, particularly made of polytetrafluoroethylene. The turned surface of the damping disk is provided with the sliding lacquer coating.
