[origin: WO2009046971A2] The invention relates to a metering device (10) for fluid, particularly paste-like substances as tooth paste, liquid soup, mustard etc., comprising a pump (16) having a fill nozzle (28) that forms a suction opening (30) of the pump (16) in order to pump the paste-like substance from a container (12). The device further comprises an adapter (14), which has an inlet opening (22) and an outlet opening (24) for connecting a neck (18) or an opening (20) of the container (12) to the fill nozzle (28) of the pump (16), wherein the outlet opening (24) can be connected to the suction opening (30), wherein the connection between the suction opening (30) of the pump (16) and the outlet opening of the adapter (12) are detachably configured, and the fill nozzle (28) is configured coaxially to the adapter (14).
