[origin: EP2030727A1] The device has a pedestal (3) fixed on a machine base (1) through a locking screw (5). A supporting assembly is formed by a lug (14), a caliper (15) and a connection (17) for defining a fixed axle for a cylindrical part (2) to be machined. A V shaped unit is formed by symmetric and slanted plane flanges (8) and a rear face (9), and is integrated with the pedestal. Interchangeable intermediate units (11) are formed in a crown segment shape, adapted to the V shaped unit, and correspond to a determined diameter of the cylindrical part. The lug drives the part against the intermediate units.
