[origin: WO2009034102A1] The present invention relates to a device (1) for temporarily spacing an opening element away from a fixed element of a motor vehicle bodywork (15), comprising a mount (2) that bears means (3, 4) of attachment allowing the device to be anchored in the fixed element, and blocking means (6) designed to be able to deform elastically, characterized in that it comprises locking means (8, 10, 12, 13) capable of moving from an initial unlocked position in which the blocking means put up minimal resistance towards the opening element, to a locked final position in which the blocking means prevent the said opening element from moving back.
