[origin: DE102007042873B3] Each resilient tab (7) has a manipulation lug. Each lug has a rising surface running away from the resilient tab (7) towards the top flange (2). On the sliding rod (9) a reception groove is constructed for each lug. The lugs run in the grooves relative to the body of the rivet (1), as the sliding rod is moved in the direction of assembly, causing the resilient projections to lock in place. Formations on the sliding rod (9) act against the manipulation lugs, to spring the catch projections (8) in, bringing them to a position flush with the column (3).
