[origin: WO2009049979A2] The ice relates to a device for removing condensation from an ice duct of an ice dispenser for a refrigerator, comprising a flap (18), which is arranged to seal an output opening (8) of the ice dispenser and a controller (50) for the flap (18), which is designed to move the flap (18) between a closed position, in which the inner side of the flap contacts the edge (23) of the outlet opening and a dispensing position in which the flap (18) is withdrawn from the edge (23) of the outlet opening to permit the dispensing of ice cubes, wherein the controller (50) is designed to open the flap (18) after expiry of a first time period (T1), during which the flap is not moved by the action of a user or by the controller (50) and to close the flap after expiry of a second time period (T2).
