[origin: WO2009040122A3] The invention relates to an adapter device (2) that can be connected to a device for clearing mines (3) for converting a carrier vehicle (1) provided with a dozer blade unit on the prow side into a vehicle for clearing mines, wherein on the prow end of the carrier vehicle (1) at least one hydraulic cylinder (4) for pivoting the dozer blade unit up and down is arranged. In order to achieve that the adapter device (2) can be easily connected to the carrier vehicle (1) in close proximity of the prow end thereof, the invention proposes to leave the hydraulic cylinders (4) required for the dozer blade unit on the carrier vehicle (1) after removal of the dozer blade and the dozer blade arms and to utilize them for fastening purposes and for the execution of pivoting movements of the adapter device (2) and thus of the device for clearing mines (3) fastened to the adapter device (2).
