Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2199219A2] The device (20) has two articulated widening jaws (22a, 22b) that engage an inner surface of a label sleeve and are movable in a radial direction towards and away from each other. A third widening jaw (22c) and a fourth widening jaw (22d) are movably arranged between the two widening jaws such that the third and the fourth jaws engage the inner surface. An articulated support (37) carries the third and the fourth jaws and has two movable levers (38a, 38b) that are pivotably connected with each other via a common pivot (50). An independent claim is also included for a method for labeling objects.
