[origin: EP2199249A2] The device (1) has a reservoir for a liquid to be bottled, and a connecting pipe (6) is provided for transporting the liquid from the reservoir to a filling device (8). The filling device has a valve device (12) for controlling a fluid flow in a container (10). Another valve device (14) is arranged with the former valve device in the connecting pipe in series with the former valve device. An amount of liquid is flowed past in the latter valve device. An independent claim is also included for a method for filling the container with liquid, particularly drinks.
