[origin: EP2199475A2] The channel (11) has a channel body (12) forming a receiving space (13) for receiving a connecting element (7) to fixedly attach a fastening element (6) to the channel. The channel body is formed with rim holes, and anchoring members (26) are fixedly attached to the channel body by inseparably mounting the anchoring members in the rim holes. A set of free ends (16) of the rim holes points toward the receiving space. One of the rim holes is located in a bottom portion (22) of a depression (21).
