[origin: EP2199511A2] The fire protection door (1) has a frame (8) anchored in a part of a building and a door leaf (2) made from a fire protection glazing supported in the frame rotating around a vertical axis. The fire protection glazing is built from multiple disks (3) and a layer (4) is arranged between two disks. The two retaining profiles (6,7) run along opposite horizontal front side (5) of the door leaf, where a band or pivot bearing (9) is arranged.
