The profile (1) has a self-expandable clamp including arms (12, 14) connected with a base (11) of the clamp, where the arms are present in a position under force effect. The clamp is attached to a profile part (2) via the base, such that the arms of the clamp work together with insulation webs (3, 5). The arms do not stand in contact with another profile part (4) in the position. The arms are present in another position by omission of force acting on the arms, such that the arms stand in contact with the latter profile part in the latter position. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a fire-proof compound profile.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verbundprofil (1) in Brandschutzausführung, insbesondere für Fenster, Türen, Fassaden oder dergleichen, wobei das Verbundprofil (1) aus einem ersten Profilteil (2) und einem beabstandet hierzu angeordneten zweiten Profilteil (4) besteht, welches mit dem ersten Profilteil (2) über mindestens einen Isoliersteg (3, 5) aus Kunststoff verbunden ist. Mit dem Ziel, ein Verbundprofil (1) in Brandschutzausführung anzugeben, bei welchem im Normalfall, d. h. ohne das Vorliegen eines Brandes, eine möglichst optimale thermische Isolierung zwischen dem ersten und zweiten Profilteil (2, 4) des Verbundprofils (1) gewährleistet ist, wobei im Brandfall und nach dem Versagen des mindestens einen Isoliersteges (3, 5) wirksam verhindert werden kann, dass das Verbundprofil (1) in seine Einzelteile auseinanderfällt, ist erfindungsgemäß eine selbstexpandierbare Klemme (10) vorgesehen, welche mindestens einen mit einer Basis (11) der Klemme (10) verbundenen Arm (12, 14) aufweist, wobei die Klemme (10) über ihre Basis (11) derart an dem ersten Profilteil (2) fixiert ist, dass der mindestens eine Arm (12, 14) der Klemme (10) mit dem mindestens einen Isoliersteg (3, 5) zusammenwirkt und dabei unter Krafteinwirkung in einer ersten Position vorliegt, in welcher der Arm (12, 14) nicht in Kontakt mit dem zweiten Profilteil (4) steht, und wobei bei Wegfall der auf den Arm (12, 14) einwirkenden Kraft dieser in einer zweiten Position vorliegt, in welcher der Arm (12, 14) in Eingriff mit dem zweiten Profilteil (4) steht.
