The covering has a vertical bar (1a) arranged adjacent to a window wing. A horizontal bar (2) is arranged above and/or below the window wing, where the vertical bar and/or the horizontal bar is folded like pleats. A plate (6) is formed at the horizontal bar and/or the vertical bar at a wing-side. The horizontal bar and/or the vertical bar is fastened at a front side of the window wing by the plates. A hook band is attached to the plate, while a lug band (8a) is attached to the window wings.

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Abdeckung für ein teilweise geöffnetes oder gekipptes Fenster, mit mindestens einem Vertikalsteg (1 a, 1 b) und mit mindestens einem Horizontalsteg (2), wobei der Vertikalsteg (1a, 1b) und/oder der Horizontalsteg (2) plisseeartig gefaltet ist. Eine Abdeckung zu schaffen, die ein einfaches Schließen des Fensters ermöglicht und die bei geschlossenem Fenster aufgeräumt aussieht, wird dadurch erreicht, dass der Vertikalsteg (1a. 1b) neben dem Fensterflügel (3) angeordnet ist, dass der Horizontalsteg (2) oberhalb und/oder unterhalb des Fensterflügels (3) angeordnet ist, und dass flügelseitig am Horizontalsteg (2) und/oder am Vertikalsteg (1a, 1b) eine Lasche (6) angeformt ist, mittels derer der Horizontalsteg (2) und/oder der Vertikalsteg (1 a, 1 b) an einer Vorderseite eines Fensterflügels (3) befestigbar ist.
