Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2199559A1] The X-tube (1) has housing (3) comprising two half shells (4,5) with inlet openings (7,8) on an inlet side (6), and two outlet openings (10,11) on outlet side (9). The openings are connected to interior space of housing. The interior space of housing is divided into two ducts connected to respective inlet openings and outlet openings. A separate component is provided at the airborne sound permeable bottom portion of tube corresponding to two shells of housing. Two ducts are connected with each other through the bottom portion of tube. An independent claim is included for exhaust system.
