The method involves utilizing process waste heat in a heat recovery plant, and evaporating water in a temperature stage using single stage or multi-stage vapor condenser to an industrial usable temperature level. Evaporating temperature is achieved at a pressure up to 120 bar using a high-pressure sided heat pump operating in a subcritical or transcritical range. Water is evaporated at a pressure in the range of 0.14 to 1.45 bar. Saturated steam is increased to a temperature above 110 degree celsius by the vapor condenser. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for generating steam.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren, das es ermöglicht, mittels Wärme auf niedrigem oder hohem Temperaturniveau, z. B. aus warmen Industrieabwässern, Wasserdampf mit atmosphärischem oder höherem Druck zu erzeugen. Zur Dampferzeugung wird Wasser, an das eine Gasphase angrenzt mittels Wärmepumpentechnik auf seine Verdampfungstemperatur gebracht. Der so erzeugte Wasserdampf wird anschließend durch Brüdenverdichtung verdichtet. Auf diese Weise kann Abwasser, bei gleichzeitiger Nutzung der abgegebenen Wärme zur Dampferzeugung, gekühlt werden. Mit der Anlage, die aus einer zumindest einer Wärmepumpe und einem Brüdenverdichter besteht, sind Gesamtleistungszahlen von µ ca. 3 möglich.
