[origin: EP2199730A1] The hand grenade (10) has an explosive body provided with explosive- and/or primary loads, and a modular body (1) connected at a lower end of hand grenade, and contains an explosive substance (2) and a hollow load insert (3) e.g. flat- or pointed cone hollow load insert. An attachment piece (4) is provided in the explosive substance for shock wave transmission of the primary load. The insert exhibits a ring shape comprising V- or U-cross-section, and is made of a material such as copper or crystal glass. A cover plate (5) covering the modular body serves as an end cap.
