Abstract (en)
The connector has contact elements fixed in a plug housing in a position-fixed manner. An end of the contact elements comprises contact sections (14) for coupling with counter contact elements of counter plug connectors. The contact sections are stabilized against radial misalignment by a supporting element. The supporting element rests at the contact sections or is connected with the contact sections by plastic injection molding process. The contact sections are thicker than a wall (19).

Ein elektrischer Steckverbinder (11) mit einem Steckergehäuse (12), in dem Kontaktelemente (14) lagefixiert angebracht sind, ist so auszugestalten, dass die Kontaktabschnitte (14) gegen eine radiale Verlagerung stabilisiert sind. Die erfolgt durch wenigstens ein Abstützelement (18), das als Wand (19) ausgebildet, jeweils eine Reihe von Kontaktabschnitten (14) der Kontaktelemente (13) beaufschlagt und ein radiales Umknicken der Kontaktabschnttte (14) verhindert. Der elektrische Steckverbinder (11) wird vorzugsweise in der Automobilindustrie eingesetzt.
