Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2009021856A1] A pack (10) for smoking articles comprises a parallelepiped receptacle for receiving a row or rows of smoking articles, the receptacle (12) having an opening (24) at a top end through which the smoking articles may be dispensed along a direction parallel to their longitudinal axes, and a rotable (38) flap positioned inside the bottom end of the receptacle which when rotated contacts ends of the smoking articles and urges the smoking articles through the opening. The pack may further include a second receptacle (14) hinged to the first (12) at their bottom ends, each receptacle having a rotatable flap that extends into the other receptacle and is fixed therein so that relative rotation of the receptacles rotates the two flaps to lift the smoking articles. Alternatively, the rotatable flaps can be integral with the other receptacles.
