[origin: WO2009037097A1] The invention relates to an injector for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, particularly a common rail injector, having an injection valve element (13) that is adjustable between a closed position and an open position releasing the fuel flow, which may be activated by means of a control valve (32) having a sleeve-shaped control valve element (31), wherein the control valve element interacts with a control valve seat (34) that is disposed on a component (14). According to the invention a pressure pin (43) surrounded by the control valve element (31) is provided separately from the component (14), and the control valve seat (32) is configured as an exterior cone.
