Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2201877A2] The method involves guiding a suction blower and a suction or blast pipe to a dust filter bag (5). The dust filter bag or a filter material for forming the dust filter bag are stored in an electric motor-operated vacuum cleaner (1) i.e. household vacuum cleaner. The filter material is moved at controllable high or low pressure for forming an additional dust filter bag or moving the dust filter bag on removal of the filled dust filter bag. A base and/or an opening closure are automatically formed in the vacuum cleaner. An independent claim is also included for a tube-shaped filter material supply for arrangement in a vacuum cleaner.
