[origin: EP2202037A2] The machine has a feeding station (12) for providing an individual sheet to be processed in a supply position. A processing station (14) comprises a punching plate, for punching, cutting, perforating, embossing or grooving the sheet. A sheet transportation unit (18) is provided for transfer of the sheet from the feeding station into the processing station. The processing station has a punching cylinder (16) that rotary drives and supports the plate in a casing side. The cylinder is positioned in a pre-determined starting position, when the sheet is aligned in the supply position. The starting position is adjustable by an adjusting device that exhibits a servo motor for rotary positioning of the punching cylinder.
