[origin: EP2202183A1] By providing a compression spring which energizes a pair of fork-members in closing direction, a cylindrical body such as a neck portion of a bottle can be gripped firmly. A guide member is provided at least in a passing section of a conveying chain which guide member contacts a side surface of a fixed frame extending in the conveying direction of the fixed frame in sliding contact. The posture of the fork-members in passing of a cylindrical body such as a bottle can be stabilized whereby passing can be made by gripping and accurately positioning a predetermined position of the neck portion.
