The ground sill comprises a basic profile (2) and an extension profile (3) overlapping its outer edge. The basic profile and the extension profile are inclined downwards to an outer side. The extension profile is mounted on a pre-assembled or to be pre-assembled basic profile without additional connecting units for forming the ground sill. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a ground sill.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Bodenschwelle für ein Hebeschiebefenster oder eine Fenstertüre. Die Schwelle besteht aus einem Grundprofil (2) und einem dessen Außenrand (2a) überragenden Verlängerungsprofil (3). Sowohl das Grundprofil (2) als auch das Verlängerungsprofil (3) sind zu einer Außenseite hin nach unten geneigt. Das Verlängerungsprofil ist an ein vormontiertes Grundprofil (2) ohne zusätzliche Verbindungsmittel nachträglich montierbar (2c;3a,3b). Das Montageverfahren der Bodenschwelle für das Hebeschiebe-Element verwendet das Grundprofil (2) und ein im montierten Zustand über einen Außenrand (2a) des Grundprofils (2) nach Außen ragendes Verlängerungsprofil (3). Sowohl das Grundprofil (2) als auch das Verlängerungsprofil (2,3) sind zur Außenseite hin nach unten oder abwärts verlaufend geneigt. Das Verlängerungsprofil (3) wird am Grundprofil (2) so montiert, dass ein Einschieben (P1) und Kippen (P2) des Verlängerungsprofils (3) zu einer Verrastung hinter einem Profilvorsprung (2c) des Grundprofils (2) führt.
