A device for evacuating exhaust gases from an internal combustion engine for mobile work tools, comprising a muffler (70) provided with at least an outlet mouth (71) which opens in a terminal conduit (8) through which the exhaust gases are released directly into an outside environment, a transversal section of the terminal conduit (8) comprising two broadened portions (82) arranged side-by-side in a direction of a width thereof and separated by an intermediate choke (83).
