Abstract (en)

The injector (1) has a piezoelectric actuator (24), and a hydraulic coupler (25) attached to the actuator and including a coupler piston (27) actuated by the piezoelectric actuator. A working piston (28) is coupled with the coupler piston over a coupler gap volume. The coupler gap volume is filled by a check valve, which has an adjustable valve element cooperating with a valve seat. The valve element has an even surface section on its side turned away from the valve seat. The valve element cooperates with a ball section with the valve seat.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Kraftstoff-Injektor (1), insbesondere Common-Rail-Injektor, zum Einspritzen von Kraftstoff in einen Brennraum einer Brennkraftmaschine, mit einem piezoelektrischen Aktuator (24) und einem diesem zugeordneten hydraulischen Koppler (25), umfassend einen mittels des piezoelektrischen Aktuators (24) betätigbaren Kopplerkolben (27) und einen mit dem Kopplerkolben (27) über ein Kopplerspaltvolumen (29) gekoppelten Arbeitskolben (28), wobei das Kopplerspaltvolumen (29) über ein Rückschlagventil (35) wieder befüllbar ist, welches ein verstellbares, mit einem Ventilsitz (43) zusammenwirkendes Ventilelement (36) aufweist. Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, dass das Ventilelement (36) auf seiner von dem Ventilsitz (43) abgewandten Seite einen ebenen Flächenabschnitt (44) aufweist.
