[origin: WO2009043680A1] The present invention relates to a floor cleaning device (10), particularly a household vacuum cleaner, having at least one air outlet opening (21) at the device housing (20) for the air flow (L) created by a ventilation unit (11), wherein a first cover (30) having air guiding elements (31) is disposed behind the air outlet opening (21) with regard to the direction of the air flow (L) for calculating the air flow (L). In order to improve the blow-out characteristics, at least one additional cover (40) having air guiding elements (41) is connected downstream of the first cover (30), said air guiding elements being configured differently from the first air guide elements (31) with regard to the arrangement, type, and/or geometry thereof. Air guiding elements (31, 41) having unique geometries (50, 51) may be advantageously configured by the at least two-piece cover (30, 40) of the air outlet opening (21), which generate significantly improved diffusing air flows, as cannot be realized using one-part covers, or other solutions known according to prior art.
