Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2009053584A2] The invention relates to a cosmetic or pharmaceutical composition containing a polycondensate that can be obtained by reacting the following single monomers expressed as a percent by weight in relation to the total weight over the polycondensate: 10 - 30 wt.-% of one or more poylols having 3 to 6 hydroxyl groups; 30 - 80 wt.-% of one or more linear, branched and/or cyclic, saturated or unsaturated, non-aromatic monocarboxylic acids having 6 to 32 carbon atoms; 1 - 40 wt.-% of one or more polycarboxylic acids and/or cyclic anhydrides of one such polycarboxylic acid and/or lactones having at least one COOH group; and, optionally, 0.1 - 15 wt.-% of one or more silicons having a hydroxyl and/or carboxylic function. The invention also relates to a cosmetic treatment method using said composition and to the polycondensate defined above.
