[origin: WO2009056486A1] The present invention relates to a gate distributor block, which can be replaced more easily and thus more rapidly and can additionally be produced with less material. In order to achieve this, according to the invention a gate adapter is proposed for receiving a molten molding compound and discharging the same to a gate distributor block (9), said gate adapter (7) having an inlet (10) for receiving the molten molding compound, a first and a second outlet for the controlled delivery of the molten molding compound, and a first and a second connection channel (18, 18'), which can be closed and each of which connects one outlet to the inlet (10).
