[origin: WO2009056210A1] The invention relates to a device for setting a door frame (1) in an opening of a building. The door frame has at least two vertical limbs (2, 3) and a horizontal limb (4) that connects the upper ends of said limbs. The door frame has a retaining element, preferably a longitudinal groove (6, 7) on each free narrow side of the vertical limb. When the frame is being assembled, the device can be connected to the vertical limbs by means of horizontally aligned spacers (9) between said vertical limbs. The spacers consist of collapsible materials that can be rolled up and opened out and are adapted to the width and depth of the vertical limbs.
